Underwater world:

After an almost 2 hour drive heading west, along the Gulf of Cariaco, you are going to reach the peaceful fishing village „Mochima“, in the same named national park. With a fisherboat you can cross in about 20 minutes the bay of Mochima (about $ 10 per boat) to reach the beautiful beach „Playa Blanca“, an ideal place for snorkeling and to get to know the colorful underwater world of the Caribbean Sea. Crystal-clear, warm water makes bathing and diving to an unforgettable event.

We offer diverse possibilities to practice diving. You can learn to dive or simply accompany a diver from the surface with a snorkel. The national park can be viewed extensively in a two-hour boat trip.

There are several fantastic sites, including the wreck of a 150-year-old sunken cocoa-freighter and a magic place where subterranean geysers and gas-flows give one the feeling of being in a gigantic aquarium under crystal-clear water with white sand below and colorful coral reefs. For divers, two dives are included, with complete, modern equipment and the company of a professional dive instructor.
