To get the answer, you have to make a trip to Billy’s cocoa plantation. There you’ll see how they plant and grow cocoa and also how to make great chocolate out of it. As well you can try a lot of different specialties that they have prepared with this extremely pure, natural product.

Half– day trips:

Tour “Rio de Agua”: A visit to the buffalo farm amidst marsh land and water introduces you to an alternative agricultural farm. You will get a chance to taste original buffalo cheese and kids can try buffalo riding.

As well you can see an almost infinite number of birds all around the buffaloes.

How to get there:

1. With a “por puesto“ in the direction of Yaguaraparo- Irapa– Güiria . You have to advise the driver in advance that you want to get off at “Hacienda Rio de Agua”. From the main road it is about a 15-minute walk. Entrance fee: approx. $2
