Carúpano is a perfect place to get to know the surroundings of the state of Sucre. Four national parks are close by, Venezuela’s most beautiful beaches are found here, thermal springs, cocoa plantations, rivers and jungle - and all of this close by.

So, the Posada Nena is not only a great place to relax, as well it's a great starting point for excursions and the best place to start an All Venezuela trip. The beaches from Carúpano are the closest beaches for people from Ciudad Guayana and Ciudad Bolívar, the gate to the Gran Sabana- so you have a great starting point to go touring down there: Canaima and the Angel Falls, the Gran Sabana and Roraima, the Orinoco delta, and a lot of jungle trips like the Rio Caura.
